Exo AI builds you a full day-by-day Ghana itinerary in under a minute. Here's how to use it well.
Start a new generation
- Click Plan a trip in the navbar, or go to
/exo-aidirectly. - Walk through the builder step-by-step:
- Where — pick a city in Ghana plus a radius (how far you're willing to travel each day).
- When — pick start and end dates.
- Who — number of travellers.
- Style — slow & restorative, active & adventurous, food-led, culture-led, mixed.
- Budget — a rough daily spend per traveller.
- Transport — how you'll get around.
- Novelty — how much you want off-the-beaten-path versus must-see classics.
- Interests — what you care about (food, history, music, nature, etc).
- Anything else — free text. Use this for non-negotiables: dietary needs, accessibility, fixed appointments.
- Click Generate itinerary.
Each step has a back button — your answers are saved as you go, so you can step out and resume later.
While it's working
You'll be sent to My Experiences, where your pending trip shows up as a card with progress. You can:
- Stay on the page and watch progress live.
- Navigate elsewhere — we keep working in the background and notify you when it's done.
- Generate a second itinerary while the first is still cooking.
When it's ready
You'll get a notification (and a toast on whichever page you're on). Click through to your new itinerary.
The first screen shows:
- A photo gallery of the places you'll visit.
- A day-by-day timeline with stops and short descriptions.
- A "Created by" card showing this was AI-generated.
From here you can edit freely. See editing days, stops, and ordering.
Tips for better generations
- Be specific in "Anything else". "Travelling with my elderly mother, no long walks" gets a better result than leaving it blank.
- Pick a realistic radius. Too tight and the itinerary can't include the best stops; too wide and you'll spend the trip on the road.
- Don't over-stuff interests. Three to five is usually the sweet spot.

How long does generation take?
Most itineraries finish in 30–90 seconds. You can navigate away — we'll notify you when it's done.
Can I generate multiple itineraries?
Yes. Each generation is saved to **My Experiences** and you can come back to any of them.
Can I edit the itinerary after Exo AI builds it?
