Adding stops and days happens inside edit mode. If you haven't entered it yet, see editing days, stops, and ordering.
Add a new stop
- In edit mode, click Add stop at the bottom of any day.
- The Add Stop dialog opens. Type to search — at least two characters.
- We'll list matching places in Ghana (it can take a moment as you type).
- Click the place you want.
- Click Add stop.
The stop appears at the end of that day. Drag it to wherever you'd like in the order.
Add a new day
- In edit mode, scroll to the bottom of the timeline.
- Click Add day.
A new empty day is added at the end. It's a "phantom" day until you add at least one stop and save — empty days are dropped on save to keep things clean.
Rebuild from scratch
If you delete every day, you'll see an empty-state Add day prompt. This is intentional — you can rebuild day-by-day, or close edit mode and start over from the original.
Search tips
- Searches automatically append "in Ghana" — don't worry about ambiguity.
- Use the local spelling (e.g. "Kakum" not "Kakoom").
- For lesser-known places, search for the nearest town and add a note in the stop afterwards.
When changes save
- New stops are only saved when you click Done.
- Until then, you can drag, remove, or undo them.
- After Done, changes are persisted and visible to all collaborators.
Frequently asked
I can't find the place I want to add — what do I do?
Try a broader search term (the name of a nearby town or landmark). All searches are scoped to Ghana automatically. If the place still doesn't appear, use the contact form to suggest it.
What's the maximum number of days?
There's no hard cap, but very long trips become unwieldy. We recommend splitting trips over ~14 days into multiple itineraries.
Why does an empty day disappear when I save?
Empty days are dropped on save so your itinerary stays tidy. Add at least one stop before saving to keep the day.
